Circa 1960s.

with the original 'reprodux' metal badge to the interior of the top drawer. Reprodux is a trade name for a line of furniture made by Bevan Funnell, a well-known British furniture maker. They are known for producing high-quality reproductions of antique furniture.

The front of the bureau has a small upper drawer, with three larger, more spacious drawers. There is a raised lip surrounding the drawers of the bureau.

The fall front can be dropped, exposing a warm and rich oak desk, which can be held by the two smooth pull out supports.

The interior has a large open pigeon hole to the top, with 7 smaller pigeon holes and a central small drawer that is finished with a metal handle. Perfect for storing documents, papers, books, or memorabilia.

All of the drawers have excellent matching figured brass handles.

The bureau is standing proudly on 4 solid bracket feet, with a raised lower boarder surrounding the bureau.

There is no key present for any of the locks.

Overall, this Vintage writing Bureau is in excellent condition, with minor signs of use and veneer wear (as photographed), as to be expected from an item with years of age.
