this ceiling lamp consists of an impressive bowl of thick glass (smooth on the outside, relief on the inside) and an irregular edge.
the color of the crystal glass fades from dark brown on top to transparent at the bottom with beautiful bubbles throughout the shade, making the illumination from the glass shade simply breathtaking.
the lampshade holder, chain and ceiling cap are all made of brass and have a nice patina (of course, you can also polish it back to shiny gold if you want to). On the inside you can find the original sticker of peill & putzler with logo and model number (ah2 11).

this lamp is similar to the ‘daylily, model 70244’, which is shaped like a delicate flower, but this model has a more subtle shape (less explicit ‘chalice shape’) and is actually more reminiscent of a translucent jellyfish.
personally, i find this model more beautiful and versatile than the flower shape, making it suitable for almost any interior style. And should you want to modernize the lamp a little, you can easily replace the original brass suspension with a sleek gold-colored one, for example.

the reflection of the light (both from the sun and when the lamp is lit) is so insanely beautiful with all those bubbles in the glass\.it looks like a kaleidoscope and you really can't stop staring.

condition: the lamp is in excellent, working, vintage condition with only minor signs of use/age (patina on the brass parts). No chips or cracks in the glass!
