This is a lovely French soup tureen produced by Luneville around the 1900s period. It is a tureen or a large serving bowl with a foot, without a lid, made of ironstone, or terre de fer. They make great visual pieces in a farmhouse or cottage.
Clearly it could be used for many things, serving pasta, serving fruit salad, a fruit bowl or just as a decoration piece.
It is in good condition for its age with marks of previous use commensurate with age. Please see all the photos carefully.
