Antique set of four small, side plate size, decorative plates produced around the 1880s by Sarreguemines. These are beautifully decorated with blue transferware edging and central colour figures depicting daily life.
They have a beautiful time worn patina appearance, a perfect setting for a rustic farmhouse kitchen or dining room, or a Welsh dresser.
In good condition without chips, one has a crack which can be seen clearer on the photo of the back, from the front it is not so clear, see photos for details.
