New York in the early 20th century, featuring a finely engraved movable handle and an oval body pierced with a refined floral and geometric decoration.
The oval body is slightly tapered with an openwork edge, featuring floral and geometric motifs along the entire handle and upper edge; the stylized, elaborate feet are typical of Art Nouveau shapes and Tiffany elegance.
The bottom features the Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver hallmark with a code that allows for dating and authenticity.
This sterling silver basket bears the prestigious Tiffany & Co. Makers Sterling Silver mark, accompanied by the model number and the "C" code. These details identify the piece as having been produced by Tiffany & Co. New York between 1907 and 1947, during the directorship of John C.
