Beautiful large antique trunk/chest. Elm.
Made around 1900, most likely in England.
Quite a bit of wear and tear, and restorations, but nothing really disturbing, only adding to the lovely authentic patina.
The lock is not functioning.
Construction is completely firm and sturdy. You can actually sit on it! The chest is completely clean, no smells. A great eye-catcher!
