This is an early version of the iconic anglepoise lamp, designed in 1960 and based on the original anglepoise lamp from the 1930's. Moving away from the more art deco styling of that period, it was a very successful home office lamp using the same spring-operated balance movements, designed by the british engineer george cardwardine,1935, but the 75 model was designed by sir kenneth grange for the anglepoise company. It was then succeeded by he later model 70 in 1973. This lamp, although from the 90's it is still working well, but has signs of usage. It has the ce mark for use in europe and the uk. This piece has an attribution mark,
