made of oak in the louis xv style, with typical 18th-century decorations, s-shaped feet, and carvings on the doors and top. It is entirely constructed using wooden nail joints, with no glue or metal nails used, a technique typical of the period that enhances its value. For this reason, there are some cracks between the slats on the back panel, which are completely normal and due to the construction technique.
internally, the wardrobe features three shelves and two drawers. The slats are sturdy and thick, but over the centuries, the drawer top has warped slightly. A small wooden pillar was therefore placed on top to support any weight, although the shelf is solid and not at risk of breaking. This is more of an aesthetic concern.
hinges, locks, and escutcheons are contemporary and functional. Key present and working
