Red monochrome lithograph on ivory paper, 70x50 cm. Print 61/99. Elio Bellora, an artist from Lucca, worked in the 1970s on a series of allegorical portraits depicting great Italian and, more often, Tuscan figures. This portrait of Puccini depicts him at the center of his characters, taken from Tosca and La Bohème, also cited in the text, making this opera almost a theatrical poster. The Futurist style, or more generally, the avant-garde style of the early 20th century, has strong echoes in Bellora's work, as can also be seen in the other prints featured in other articles. The vintage condition is excellent. This piece has an attribution mark,
