Rare set of six Model 1788 chairs (also known as the "Dining Chair" or "Shell Chair" in teak) designed by Børge Mogensen for Søborg Møbelfabrik in 1956. They are an absolute classic of mid-century modern Danish design. Material: Solid teak (solid wood, not veneered) with a beautiful warm grain and a dark patina typical of the 1950s and 1960s. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
