This cabinet has a simple design but is beautifully painted in green with floral decorations on the panels. The wedding date and names of the previous owner are also painted on the crest. This piece is still in good condition for its age, although there are, of course, some slight signs of wear. These include a few sporadic traces of woodworm, which have been checked and treated, and the paint is slightly worn in some places. All in all, a very characteristic piece. The interior of the cabinet consists of a set of small shelves, coat hooks, and a modern rod. The cabinet still has its original working lock and key. In the past, it was customary to give wedding furniture like this to the couple as a wedding gift. This furniture was then placed in a display room on the farm, which was rarely used except for important visitors or special occasions. A beautiful and decorative piece of history. This piece comes from southern Germany. The cabinet can be transported in two parts. 195 cm high, 172 cm wide, 60 cm deep. See less
