The … Read more These two antique mountain chairs are a beautiful example of traditional southern German craftsmanship from the early 19th century. The chairs are made of solid pine wood and are assembled entirely with mortise and tenon joints. The chairs have an old ochre yellow coat of paint, which has worn away in a characteristic way over time. This natural patina gives the chairs a unique, warm appearance and emphasizes their authenticity.

The chairs have recently been carefully checked and are sturdy, stable, and ready for daily use. Old, sporadic woodworm traces have been checked and treated.
