A modernist reinterpretation of Woman with Black Glove (Femme au gant noir, also known as Femme Assise) — originally painted by French artist and Cubist theorist Albert Gleizes. This oil on canvas version is signed “Edwau” and pays homage to Gleizes’ geometric portraiture and stylized abstraction.
