This piece is a superb piece of Neoclassical style furniture, estimated to date back to the Vintage period (1960s).

Design and Style: Elegant Louis XVI (Neoclassical) Revival style. The frame is slender, with a practical drawer inserted into the band. The uprights and legs are straight and tapered, typical of the style. Material and Finish: Crafted from solid wood and fine woods used for the geometric marquetry (parquetry) that decorates the top and bottom shelf. It is finely embellished with gilded brass applications: a perforated gallery on the top, trim, friezes, and a shell handle. Base: The table rests on elegant, slender, tapered legs, joined by a lower shelf. The legs end with refined brass "sabots" (feet). Ideal as a coffee table, side table, lamp stand, or as an elegant piece of furniture for an entryway, living room, or study.
