It features a prestigious cylindrical heat-resistant glass. Material and finish: the frame is metal (likely nickel- or chrome-plated brass) with a polished finish. The glass is the high-quality "jenaer suprax glas" produced by schott mainz (made in west germany), as per the inscriptions engraved on the glass itself.
