This piece is a production of the prestigious VeArt glassworks (founded by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana of Venini), estimated to date back to the 1970s.

Subject and Style: Sculptural and organic design, inspired by the famous "Fazzoletto" (handkerchief) shape. The glass is worked freehand to create dynamic and elegant waves and folds. The decoration plays on the magnificent contrast between the clear glass and the bands of milky white glass.

Material and Finish: Made of heavy, hand-blown glass. The finish is polished and brilliant. It bears the original "VeArt Hand Crafted Made in Italy" adhesive label.

Base: Rests on a solid circular base with a clear glass foot. It bears the engraved signature "veart venezia" on the base, certifying its authenticity.
