An original table lamp (or table lamp) in albissola majolica, finely hand-painted. The work bears the signature "stella d'argento dip. A mano a.c. Albissola" on the base. A superb vintage piece dating back to the 1960s.
subject and style: design in the "bianco e blu" (blue and white) style, typical of ligurian tradition. The lamp is shaped like a stylized tree (or christmas pine) and consists of a base and a lampshade/diffuser. The lampshade is perforated with star-shaped carvings, creating a charming play of light when the lamp is turned on. Material and finish: made of high-quality majolica (glazed ceramic), entirely hand-painted using the "bianco e blu" (blue and white) technique. The finish is glossy and shiny. The lamp holder is integrated into the base. Base: the lamp consists of a circular base (which houses the lamp holder and cable) and a perforated conical lampshade that rests on top. It bears the complete handwritten signature on the bottom. Ideal for collectors of albissola ceramics, as an atmospheric light in a bedroom or living room, or as a splendid and original christmas lamp (given its tree/star theme).
