the planter retains its original zinc insert, perfectly fitted inside—an increasingly rare feature on antique black forest pieces.

condition

the planter is in very good overall condition, with a warm, authentic patina and sharply defined carvings.
a small section at the back has been carefully re-glued in a clean and unobtrusive way. This discreet restoration does not affect the beauty or structural integrity of the piece and is visible in one of the photos.
please also note: the front left foot is missing, though this does not affect stability when displayed. All other structural and sculptural elements are well preserved.
