An antique piece, estimated to date back to the early 1900s (or late 19th century).

Subject and Style: Classic design, characterized by a curved, curved line on the front and sides. The piece features three large drawers at the bottom and a drop-leaf top that, when opened, reveals an elegant internal storage compartment with small drawers and open compartments, ideal as a writing desk.

Material and Finish: Crafted from solid wood and finely veneered in burl (probably walnut or walnut burl) with inlaid fillets that create elegant frames. The finish is glossy and warm. The handles are in antique bronze/brass.

Construction: The piece rests on sturdy onion-shaped feet. The drop-leaf cabinet is supported by two removable drawers (or hinges, as shown in the photo) and comes complete with a lock and key with tassel.
