A refined set of six dining chairs designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, Netherlands, 1970s. Crafted from warm-toned wood with newly upholstered seats and backrests in a soft, textured grey fabric. The design is characterized by its precise proportions, honest materials, and understated clarity hallmarks of Dutch modernism.
with their solid yet elegant construction, these chairs embody the postwar Pastoe philosophy of simplicity, function, and craftsmanship. The subtle curvature of the backrest provides comfort, while the rectilinear form retains a quiet architectural discipline.
