In perfect working order and restored by a talented and passionate engineer. The stereo system has also been restored to its exterior, with a shellac and wick finish. The rr 126 model is a radio-phonograph designed by brothers pier giacomo castiglioni and achille castiglioni in 1964, commissioned and subsequently produced by the italian electronics company brionvega. The model presented here is the first installment, with a garrard turntable and a push-button start unlike the usual models. Originally conceived as a stereo device, it became an icon of 1960s pop design. Examples of this radio-phonograph are exhibited at the triennale di milano, the moma in new york, and for a time at the victoria & albert museum in london. The structure is made of plywood casings covered in walnut. The whole thing rests on a metal trolley made of anodized aluminum, with four rubber ball wheels, painted black on the edges. It weighs 32 kg. The device is fully functional and in excellent aesthetic condition, as can be seen from the published photos. This piece has an attribution mark,
