The body, in an intense sky blue shade, provides a backdrop for multicolored, hand-applied decoration, intricate depictions of birds, maple branches, and coniferous trees. These motifs are maintained in a natural palette. The vessel rests on three slightly curved legs, also covered with a floral motif. The rim is adorned with a border with a distinct, repeating pattern. The enamel surface is smooth and elegant. The vessel carries a story of Japanese finesse and nature, as if each branch line and bird silhouette marked the rhythm of a bygone era. See less
