Handblown glass sconces by raf made in sweden around 1960.
highly unique and beautiful shape resembling a crest. Minute fragmentation of the glass with gold on the interior creates a diffused glow when switched on; the "rugiada" technique. The sconce attached to its backplate with two sweet brass ball screws.
this pair of vintage wall sconces from reijmyre armaturfabrik (raf), sweden, exemplifies scandinavian mid-century design. Crafted in the 1960s, these sconces feature glass with a decorative relief pattern on the front and a granulated back, elegantly mounted on gold-tone metal backplates. Each sconce is fitted with an e14 socket (bulbs not included), and both retains its original raf 6044 label, confirming its authenticity.
