Double-sided enamel sign in red and navy: the top reads たばこ (“tabako” – tobacco) in white hiragana; the bottom reads 中日新聞 (“Chūnichi Shimbun” – a Japanese regional newspaper).
Dimensions: height 45 cm, width 45 cm, depth 0.1 cm.
Date stamp at lower right: 84–02 (February 1984). Fitted with metal grommets for hanging.
In very good original condition with a nice gloss; minimal edge wear consistent with age.
