Slender, flared ceramic bodies … Read more A matched pair of antique art deco gouda table lamps by plateelbakkerij zuid-holland (pzh), circa 1918. Slender, flared ceramic bodies are hand-painted in the “nizza” pattern (model 458) over a warm ivory ground, with stylized florals in cornflower/periwinkle blue, terracotta orange, butter yellow, and jade/sea-green accents. Newly paired burnt-orange textured fabric shades with houlè paris braid trim echo the warm tones in the glaze. Brass-tone hardware and the tapered silhouette emphasize the period profile.
