An original antique/restored bread cabinet/pantry cabinet from around 1820. This beautiful, original pantry cabinet dates from the late 18th century and is a true gem of Alpine craftsmanship. Made of solid spruce, this pantry cabinet impresses with its robust construction and authentic, rustic charm. Typical of the Alpine style, the cabinet is characterized by its clean lines and simple form, enhanced by artistic hand carvings and delicate decorative moldings. The wood surface is in original, very good, restored condition. Inside, spacious shelves offer ample storage for textiles and other treasures. The wooden fittings are well-preserved and attest to the high craftsmanship of this piece of furniture. This bread cupboard has one door on the right, supported by visible hinges, and five practical drawers on the left, operated by shell handles. The lock is original and looks fantastic – and, of course, it's fully functional. The interior of this Almer cupboard smells of wood. The piece has been restored with great care and expertise; the top cornice/base has been renewed in keeping with the style, with great emphasis placed on preserving the cupboard's original character and bringing it to excellent, usable condition.
