Bold, graphic vintage enamel sign: the top panel reads たばこ (“tabako” – tobacco) in black within a white oval on a red field, and the lower panel reads フコク生命 (“Fukoku Seimei” – Fukoku Life Insurance) in white on navy.
Dimensions: height 45 cm, width 45 cm, depth 0.1 cm.
Date stamp at lower right: 83–07 (July 1983). Double-sided with hanging grommets.
In very good original condition with a nice gloss; light edge wear/rust spots consistent with age.
A pop-art eye-catcher and an ideal graphic accent for a kitchen, bar, studio, or shop wall. Ready to hang.
