Made in Italy in the … Read more Midcentury amazing double-level oval wall mirror with a green glass frame attributed to Cristal Art. Made in Italy in the 1960s. The mirror, original of the period, shows small signs of discolouration. Cristal Arte (established in 1944) was a furniture company founded in Turin, Italy, by Giuseppe and Giovanni Donna. Cristal Arte specialized in the creation and design of plate glass furniture and mirrors, and one of its main characteristics was the frequent use of transparent-to-mirrored glass for its mirrors and furniture. Between the 1950s and 1980s, Cristal Arte competed with Fontana Arte and SantAmbrogio & De Berti creating mostly mirrors for Italian clientele. See less
