A precise example of West German modernist lighting from the Space Age era. Produced by Gebrüder Cosack (Cosack Leuchten) in Neheim-Hüsten, this Model 7962 features a reductive, tubular design crafted entirely from high-polished chrome. The architecture is strictly functional: a cylindrical stem supports a rotating cylindrical shade, allowing for adjustable directional lighting. The design prioritizes clean lines and industrial finishing, characteristic of high-end German manufacturing of the 1970s. Notably, this piece retains its original factory inspection tag, confirming the model number and manufacturer. Provides cool, directional light ideal for a workspace, sideboard, or bedside table. Excellent vintage condition. The chrome plating is bright and unpitted.
