Scandinavian oak sideboard by Børge Mogensen for Karl Andersson & Söner. Two connected modules with sliding doors and drawers. Original hallmark present.
Refined Scandinavian oak sideboard, designed by Børge Mogensen and produced by Karl Andersson & Söner in the 1960s. The piece is composed of two connected modules: one with sliding doors that conceal an internal shelf and the other with four drawers of varying heights.
The clean, well-proportioned lines are enhanced by the slender turned legs and the round, carved handles with embossed frames, contrasting with the sculptural drawer handles. A remarkable example of the balance between functionality and formal purity, typical of Mogensen's work.
Original hallmark present.
