A nice painted Swedish Gustavian sofa with a typical high back from the early 1800s. with a typical high back and an unfussy classic decorative border detail with turned wood finials either end. Repainted over time in a calming mid blue grey colour it has a separate decent quality long seat cushion with two bolsters and a pair of small cushions in a white muslin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
