One of our most favourite chairs, in … Read more 1950’s French Mullca vintage stacking school – dining chairs – aqua model 510. One of our most favourite chairs, in 1947 Robert Muller and Gaston Cavaillon created the company that went on to develop arguably the most famous French school chair. Sadly the company no longer exists but vintage chairs can still be found, beautifully made with a strong tubular frame with birch seats and back inserts. Rumour has it that this model was the redesign of the 511 after the French government felt the 511 needed updating to be more sophisticated. Ours date from the early 1950’s and are in exceptional condition. The earlier versions retain the dog leg (not straight) rear leg. Super comfortable and stylish. We service each chair individually before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality.
