The compartments are the perfect … Read more Beautifully made very heavy weight sheet metal filing cabinet, with thirty six hinged ‘klappet’ compartments. The compartments are the perfect size for letters and small documents, the front panel simply pulls down with a light pull and clicks back into location. The cabinet was originally from the offices of a large french company where they were used for document storage. This cabinet is completely original with the original bronze finish, complete with subtle pin stripe detail. The most stunning feature of the cabinet is the complete set of original hardware, nameplates, pull handles and the enamel numbers. Reminiscent of strafor but not marked in any way. Internal compartment dimensions: l26 x w19 x h19 cm. Workshop report: our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
