A smart and extremely well-made pair of antique Georgian-style burr walnut chests of drawers. They were made in England, they date from around the 1930’s.
The quality is fantastic and they are a very useful size. They are fairly tall and slim, meaning they take up very little room and offer plenty of storage space. The walnut has stunning grain patterns with a gorgeous colour tone and patina, the drawers have brass handles and the chests stand on cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees.
We have had them stripped and re-polished, the condition is excellent for their age.
