They feature a central structure in gold-plated brass … Read more An elegant pair of museum-quality wall sconces with an artistic, vintage design. They feature a central structure in gold-plated brass with a polished finish, composed of a vertical cylindrical body from which several horizontal arms branch.
Each arm features a glass leaf and an E14 socket.
The lamp holders are partially hidden by the colored glass leaves.
The leaves are hand-molded, clear glass; they range in color from a pale amber pink to light gray and dark gray, creating a pleasant color contrast with the warm brass. One dark gray leaf has a small defect.
The sconces have been restored and have new electrical wiring.
This pair of Seguso sconces likely belonged to the Hotel Bristol in Merano, designed by Gio Ponti.
One of the two sconces has the Seguso seal of authenticity.
