post office or cashier's table,
made of light and dark oak with a sliding door that opens downwards,
with 5 small drawers inside and 1 open central compartment from the art nouveau era, estimated to be from around 1900.

a fascinating, beautiful, and rare table, suitable for a hallway, living room, guest room, or office.

it was certainly not used as a secretary,
as the knee height is too low (see last picture!). It was probably more of a post office/letter cabinet or even a cashier's table.

i sanded and polished the surfaces to remove some stains.


the dimensions are:
w 55 x d 35 x h 85 cm (with decorative frame)
table height 78 cm
center compartment dimensions:
w 18 x d 27 x h 21 cm
sliding door height 26 cm

condition:
the table is antique and naturally used, but has only minimal wear and tear and is still in almost very good condition, without any significant defects. The lock works perfectly. See less
