The bronze depicting a troika led by a team of three horses with driver and two passengers, passing a milepost on a rutted road. It has a gorgeous dark brown patina. is mounted on a slate and marble base, and is signed in Cyrillic, on one side with the artist's signature, and the other side with the foundry mark This high-quality hot cast solid bronze was produced using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method. This is a splendid antique bronze sculpture of the Russian school, which is sure to receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed.
