This splendid portrait of an edwardian english lady is signed lower left by c. B. Prescott and dated 1913, probably the english painter charles barrow prescott (1870-1932), without authentic.

this is a fantastic painting in which the woman, in a three-quarter pose, displays all the characteristics of the early 20th-century english upper class. The furnishings surrounding the subject are elegant and refined; a large red velvet armchair creates a perfect contrast with the black dress. On the right, a large and precious potiche vase on a louis xv side table accentuates the value of the antique furnishings.
