This impressive French Art Deco extendable dining table was designed by Charles Dudouyt and produced in France in the 1930s.

Crafted in solid oak, the table features the warm and expressive grain patterns that define Dudouyt’s most recognizable work. The thick tabletop is finished with subtly rounded, carved edges and rests on two substantial stepped pedestal bases—a signature architectural element in Dudouyt’s designs that combines sculptural presence with excellent stability. The table is equipped with an integrated pull-out extension system, allowing it to expand from 190 cm to 290 cm (74.8" → 114.2"). The wooden rails are original; extension leaves are not included but can be newly fabricated upon request in matching oak. The surface has a naturally aged patina with normal wear consistent with its nearly century-old history, adding authenticity and character to the piece.
