A pair of 19th-century Directoire wall lamps, made in France. These gilded bronze wall lamps are dedicated to the god Mercury; at the center is a large caduceus surmounted by a winged petasus. They feature three arms supporting fluted spouts with faux candle holders. The branches are decorated with rosettes, acanthus leaves, and scrolls.
