this is a great example of a rustic modern, brutalist creation, combining a tripod organic structure base, with a natural movement inside the wooden body, electrified to diffuse light through a classical shade (which can be replaced by any other cylindrical or rectangular shape and size.

it is undoubtedly a unique piece made by a (still) anonymous artist, who is part of an important brutalist movement, of modernist and hippie inspiration, which developed in the french countryside in the 60s-70s, reusing natural pieces of wood to make furniture and lighting creations, in the lineage of creators like jean touret, the artisans de marolles, alexandre noll and others.
