designed in 1963 as part of a residential development in albertslund, near copenhagen, the lamp became one of louis poulsen’s most enduring architectural lighting designs. Combining functional precision with understated scandinavian aesthetics, it remains a benchmark of danish lighting design.

this example features the desirable grey finish with an unpainted galvanised aluminium top dome, a detail associated with earlier production. The lamp retains its clear glass diffuser and the characteristic saturn-ring anti-glare reflector, secured by three bolts and engineered to provide soft, evenly distributed illumination while eliminating glare.

the original white fabric cord, louis poulsen ceiling rose and porcelain e27 socket remain present.
