Crafted circa 1890–1910, this elegant piece features a silver-plated brass frame mounted on a rich mahogany base with classical column supports.

The bottle holder tilts smoothly using a side crank operated through a rack-and-pinion mechanism — a striking fusion of artistry and mechanical ingenuity from the late 19th century. The handle knob is likely early celluloid or stone, complementing the warm patina of the plated metal and wood.
