This wonderful and unique chandelier is a rare work of art, probably made in Italy beginning of the 20th century … Read more This wonderful and unique chandelier is a rare work of art, probably made in Italy beginning of the 20th century during the Jugenstil period.
The bowl is handmade from alabaster marble, and is in very good condition, no seen defects or repairs, just very little normal scratches.
The hanging chains and ceiling mount are made of brass with a beautiful dark patina.
However, the spectacular centerpiece is the large dragonfly created from wrought iron, which has colorful glasses (one yellow and one blue) integrated into both wings.
The dragonfly is centered and screwed into the alabaster bowl with two screws.
