Crafted from frosted purple crystal, it depicts a kneeling female figure arching gracefully backward, her flowing hair capturing a sense of motion and lightness. The soft lavender hue and satin finish give this sculpture a luminous, ethereal presence — a true expression of Lalique’s timeless artistry. Lalique Lalique is a French luxury glass maker, founded by renowned glass maker and jeweller René Lalique in 1888. Lalique is best known for producing glass art, including perfume bottles, vasesand hood ornaments during the early twentieth century. Following the death of René, Lalique transitioned to producing lead glass (crystal) works during the 1950s while under the direction of René's son, Marc Lalique. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
