The column is made with deep amber glass globes on a chrome base, the bulb holder is switched and also supports the gallery which holds the frosted glass star shade.
An Art Deco table lamp with a faceted frosted glass star-shaped shade and a graduated amber glass column, British circa 1930. The sharply geometric shade contrasts with the rounded form of the baluster stem, which is composed of stacked amber glass spheres in descending size. Set on a polished chrome base, the lamp captures the period’s fascination with material contrast and sculptural silhouette, making it a decorative and functional lighting piece
