Charming swedish wall lamp designed by erik tidstrand for nordiska kompaniet (nk) in the 1950s. The lamp features a gracefully curved brass arm and a sculpted yellow glass shade that emits a warm, diffused light. A cream-coloured metal sphere with an integrated switch forms the lower part of the lamp, adding a distinctive decorative and functional detail. A refined example of tidstrand’s work for nk, combining playful form with functional elegance. Very good vintage condition with minor signs of age and a natural patina to the brass. Wiring: all our lamps are wired for eu standards. Unfortunately, we have neither the means nor the qualifications to wire them for us standards. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity
issues arising from misattribution,
