Each section has … Read more Paul kingma coffee table from the 1970s, featuring a round top of slate, brass and colourful ceramic. Each section has its own shade and texture, coming together in a balanced and distinctive composition – a characteristic work by kingma, handcrafted with precision and personality. The tabletop shows a geometric inlay of natural stone in muted tones, terracotta tiles and yellow-green glazed ceramics. Three brass plates – one larger and two smaller – are subtly embedded in the surface. A gear-shaped metal detail with copper-coloured dots enhances the graphic quality of the design. The round top rests on a black metal base made of two half circles. Dimensions: 117 x 31.5 cm (h), tabletop thickness 3.5 cm / 46.1 x 12.4 in (h), top 1.4 in thick. Signed: kingma (see photo).
