The Maralunga, an icon of Italian design, designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in 1973, is one of the most beloved pieces in modern furniture history.
Its soft, organic lines and generous proportions embody great comfort, even more because each back cushion can be adjusted independently to create a low or high supporting backrest. A revolutionary idea in the 1970s that helped the Maralunga earn the Compasso d’Oro.
