Elegant pair of Italian wall sconces from the 1950s, combining refined proportions with a distinctly modern aesthetic. Each lamp features a gracefully arched arm in nickel-plated and patinated brass, supporting a spherical opaline glass diffuser that emits a soft and uniform light.
The curved arm rises from a circular brass wall plate (diameter 10 cm / 3.93 in) fixed with two visible brass fasteners, and terminates in a fine tapered point that enhances the fluidity of the design. The opaline globes sit within a simple brass collar that emphasizes the purity of the form.
The metal surfaces display a natural, even patina, the result of time and gentle oxidation, which adds warmth and authenticity to the piece.
Each sconce is fitted with a standard E14 socket, suitable for both European and U.S. systems (with appropriate bulbs).
